PARENT HELP's Mission

PARENT HELP offers telephone-based counseling and mediation to deal with poor relationships between fathers and mothers that damage a child's healthy growth.

Our goal is to promote responsible parenting by:

Increasing the ability of estranged parents to manage their relationships with neutral or positive impact on their children;

Decreasing the child abuse of denied visitation and parental abduction;

Establishing and increasing compliance with co-parenting plans, support orders, and visitation schedules;

Increasing parental knowledge of the development stages of childhood and a father's role in healthy development;

PARENT HELP is based on the following philosophical framework:
our concern and focus is always on the child's well-being.

Both parents have value to the child.

Support and visitation are two separate issues.

Parents need to comply with legal requirements.

PARENT HELP will not take sides in a dispute, but will serve as mediators between parents and advocates in negotiating the court, child support, and law enforcement systems.

PARENT HELP is a project of Child Find of America, Inc., a national organization working to prevent and resolve child abduction and child abuse.
